We highly recommend that guests choose to stay at Haig Point, which is where all wedding events will take place. There are three steps to book accommodations at Haig Point (outlined below). There are currently 3 homes left available to rent for the wedding weekend: 9 Plantation Home (2 br), 1179 Haig Point Road (3 br), and 7 Forest Lake Drive (5 br).
1. Use this link to view the homes available in the Haig Point rental program. DO NOT SELECT A DATE. You will not see all accommodations if you select a date. 2. Use this spreadsheet to see what specific accommodations are available the weekend of May 17, 2025. 3. Contact the Reservations Dept to book your rental home. 843-341-8192. You must call to book — you cannot book online. He will also handle reserving your golf cart(s) and ferry passes.

Some guests may prefer to stay on Hilton Head Island. Alex & Amanda have secured a room block at the Courtyard Marriott on Hilton Head Island (79 Pope Ave, Hilton Head Island, SC 29928) for $264 per night. Here is the link to book. The last day to book this rate is April 16, 2025.

Please plan ahead and look at the Haig Point ferry schedule to arrive on time for wedding events (see ferry schedule in the “Travel” tab). Our understanding is that transportation will be available to take you to/from the venues once you arrive to the island.

There are other accommodations on Daufuskie Island, but they are located outside of the gated Haig Point community. For example, you may see Airbnbs and VRBOs through the Daufuskie Island Rental Group. Please contact Amanda or Alex if you prefer pursuing a different accommodation on the island, as it will involve a few more logistics. You may need to take a private ferry (rather than the Haig Point ferry), reserve your own golf cart, and get your luggage to your home when you get off the ferry.
